WHO?
Students ages 15-18 are eligible to apply.
Student must be 15 by February 28th, 2026.
Applications are accepted until February 18th, 2026.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
Once an application is submitted, Chelsie Zylstra, Camp Director, will follow up with the student and schedule a phone interview, as well as contact references of the applicant.
After the interviews have been completed, the DNT leaders + Camp Directors will process each application and prayerfully accept up to 14 students for this summer's DNT program. Applicants will receive a phone call from one of the DNT leaders to let them know if they will be part of DNT '26.
If a student is not accepted for DNT, we would love to encourage them to consider volunteering at camp in another capacity. They would not have to complete a separate volunteer application - the DNT form will be sufficient.
More information can be found on our volunteer page.
SHADOW WEEK
DNTer's who wish to serve in a Cabin Leader role are required to schedule an additional week at camp after DNT to train as a SHADOW volunteer. Shadow week dates are selected by the DNter and not required to be directly after the DNT week.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Accommodations
Tuck (daily snack shack)
Paintball gear & game time
Sessions & Coaching from DNT Leaders + Camp leaders
Camp out + mid-week outing off-site for team building
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER DNT
Upon completion of DNT students are welcome to step into camp roles and help fill in the need for volunteers across the summer!
We encourage students throughout their DNT week to give different roles a try and learn more about their own gifts and talents. Camp is a community of so many people, and there are many different roles to fill. We love seeing students try new roles and grow in their abilities as they serve with the camp team!
In the DNT application, students will indicate which additional weeks they'd like to serve in and what role(s) they prefer. This does not have to be completed at the time of applying for DNT. Often times, students select additional weeks once they are at camp. (However, if you know you want to be at camp for several/all weeks of camp -- that is very helpful for our leadership team to know in advance as it helps us determine the needs across the summer).
HONORARIUMS & DISCOUNTS
All volunteers are provided an honorarium for each camp session they volunteer for (outside of their DNT program week).
Honorariums are based on age and role - listed on our volunteer page
Sr. Teen Discount
2026 DNTer's who volunteer throughout the summer (not including their shadow week) are given a discount for Sr. Teen camper fees equal to $35/per volunteer week.
Volunteer Discount
Volunteers who have not participate in DNT but volunteer in other capacities are given a discount for Sr. Teen camper fees equal to $25/per volunteer week.
