Full-Time Missionaries
Howard and Kathy Weir have served in full-time Christian Camping in a variety of roles with 'ONE HOPE CANADA' (formerly CSSM Ministries) since 1983. They came as TMBC's first full-time directors in 2002. They have been involved in kids' and youth ministry through the years and have been encouraged by the countless answers to prayer and "God Moments" they have evidenced in ministry. "The most exciting part of camping ministry is seeing lives transformed." The Weirs have a deep passion to live and share Christ in a ministry that makes an eternal difference in lives and their greatest joy is seeing staff and campers of all ages growing in their relationship with God.
Turtle Mountain Bible Camp is pleased to have Chelsie Zylstra (White) as our full time Assistant Director. Chelsie is originally from Sault Ste Marie, ON and has been serving at TMBC since 2010. Her passion and interest in building relationships and keeping connected with campers and volunteers is a huge part of her role during the summer, as well as off season. She continues to work on many new summer ideas throughout the 'off season' months, and seeks to make a difference in lives of the summer team and campers of TMBC year-round.
Menno and his wife Brenda joined the TMBC full-time team in June 2012. As site manager, he is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the grounds and facilities. Brenda has assisted with camper registrations and is a tremendous encouragement to our team. They have 3 adult children and continue to attend and serve in their home church in Killarney.
